Meta App Review Guide

This page explains the complete end-to-end use case for Bot ServerColombia.

Purpose

Authorized business users connect their professional Instagram account and associated Facebook Page so the application can receive and reply to Instagram Direct and Messenger conversations from the unified Inbox.

Reviewer flow

1. Open the application and sign in with the provided test user.
2. Open Configuration, choose Instagram and Messenger, and press Connect with Meta.
3. Complete the full Meta login flow, grant the requested permissions, and select the professional Instagram account and Facebook Page.
4. Send one Instagram Direct message and one Facebook Messenger message from external test accounts.
5. Open Inbox and verify that both incoming conversations appear as separate channels.
6. Reply to both conversations from Inbox and verify that each response arrives in its original channel.

Permissions

instagram_basic identifies the authorized professional account. instagram_manage_messages receives and replies to Instagram messages. pages_show_list and pages_read_engagement locate the associated Facebook Page. pages_manage_metadata manages the Page webhook subscription. pages_messaging receives and replies to Messenger conversations.
